Another Pokemon Leak Reveals Shocking Budget
It's hard to believe just how much Game Freak spent on Legends: Z-A.
If the leak is to be believed, the next generation of Pokemon will release next year, just four years after Scarlet and Violet. In this same week as the leak, Pokemon Legends: Z-A also released, and the leak surprisingly gave us the development budget for it: $13 million.
The budget for Generation 10 is higher, but also, it’s not quite as high as you’d think for the amount of money Pikachu prints. I’d love for the next game’s visuals to really impress me, but we’ll have to wait and see.
It’s sad news to hear, especially so close to the release of Ninja Gaiden 4 next week. In a way, it’s bittersweet. His legacy strongly continues, with Ninja Gaiden still being a relevant name in the mainstream. Lest we forget, Ragebound also released earlier this year to a great reception. May Itagaki-san rest in peace.

You can read more of his thoughts on our site, and if you’re looking for our review, you can find that here.
Côté left the company to pursue his own path, though it does raise some eyebrows that it’s also around the time that the Assassin’s Creed franchise moved to be under the newly formed Vantage Studios. The last project he shipped was Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which does feel like an alternate take on the recently released Ghost of Yotei.
