Last week we reported on the dire situation at Ubisoft, which likely would lead to layoffs. Now at its head office in Paris, there’s a voluntary redundancy program in place with a goal to cut roughly 18% of its workforce. If not enough people volunteer, we can only expect more aggressive measures will be taken.

There’s no release window for Darkhaven at the time of writing, but the developers at Moon Beast are planning a Kickstarter to fund their hopeful Early Access release. This’ll be an interesting space to watch, considering Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred will come out at the end of April.

It’s been nearly a year, but Capcom is finally addressing the performance issues on PC. Apparently, the problem came from Steam constantly checking if the player has the DLC downloaded, causing a constant strain on CPU performance. More updates are on the way though to help performance get even smoother.

That’s great news for the Japanese giant, which just reported strong Q3 profits that were bolstered by Wilds selling 11 million units. With Resident Evil Requiem on the way, Capcom’s likely in for another solid quarter, assuming Leon and Grace can stick the landing.

There were a lot of Dragon Ball announcements earlier this week. The Super anime is officially continuing with a new saga, and it’s also sort of restarting with a remaster/remake/retelling situation of the first saga. But in the video game space, a brand-new game has been announced that takes place more than 200 years after the end of Dragon Ball Z. Don’t expect the game until some time in 2027 though.
